This job posting is an opportunity for a highly motivated professional individual to join a respected company in an exciting full-time salary position. You will apply your knowledge of statistical methodologies, including statistical planning, design, analysis, and reporting to support a wide range of activities including but not limited to clinical trials, protocol sample sizes, and manuscripts within the Research Team for Client Services.

Required Education

· Ph.D. or MSc in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or related field.

Experience

· Proficiency in statistical program coding and validating, and analyses in R is required;

· Proficiency in statistical program coding and validating, and analyses in SAS is an asset;

· At least 3-5 years of relevant work experience with multiple dataset management and analysis;

· In-depth knowledge of statistical reports in compliance with scientific and industry standards, and guidelines (e.g., FDA guidelines) is required;

· Competence in basic and advanced statistical concepts and methods commonly used in clinical trials and health research;

· Previous experience with large population-based data (such as ICES, CIHI or similar) or pharmaceutical/clinical research is an asset;

· Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.

Responsibilities

· Statistical analysis of clinical research data using R software

· Creation of detailed statistical reports including interpretation where necessary

· Sample size calculations

· Statistical planning for all projects including review of study outcomes and writing statistical analysis plans

· Data review and querying

· Communication of stats results to internal and external stakeholders

· Compliance with quality, regulatory and scientific standards

· Statistical process development;

· Ability to attend and conduct presentations

Expectations

· Excellent communication (e.g., written and oral) skills with the ability to distill complex statistical concepts into easy-to-understand summaries for clients

· Work independently but also as a collaborative member of a much larger Research Team

· Work efficiently and be able to incorporate Lean Six Sigma concepts toward Continuous Process Improvement

· Respected and respectful member of the Research Team for Client Services

· Professional in communicating with clients, Research Team peers, and all employees of KGK Science
