Calcium & Vitamin D for Women 45-65

Measuring Postmenopausal Absorption and Bone Healthwoman being active

Osteoporosis-related bone loss in women is most dramatic in the first few years after menopause. It’s essential for women to maintain a healthy level of calcium and vitamin D, but, as we age, our bodies naturally have more difficulty absorbing calcium. Many women take calcium supplements but not all supplements are created equal, with their absorption varying depending on the specific formulation.

KGK Science in London, Ontario is pleased to offer you the opportunity to participate in our study comparing the effectiveness of a new naturally sourced product containing calcium and vitamin D, testing and comparing absorption and bone health in postmenopausal women.

Ideal participants will be:

  • Women Ages 45 to 65
  • Naturally absent of their menstrual period for more than 12-months
  • Healthy with a BMI of 19.0 – 29.9 kg/m2
  • Available for 4 visits over a 20-day period
