Erin D. Lewis, PhD is the Scientific Director Nutritional Sciences at KGK Science Inc. With more than a decade of academic, industrial, and clinical experience, Erin works with research, regulatory and clinical operation teams, and study sponsors to prepare clinical trial protocols, Investigator’s Brochures, study reports and manuscripts according to ICH guidelines. She earned a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences from the University of Guelph, a Doctor of Philosophy in Nutrition and Metabolism from the University of Alberta and completed postdoctoral training from the Jean Mayer United States Department of Agriculture, Human Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University. Erin has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and 60 protocols and clinical study reports in the areas of human and animal nutrition, natural health products and clinical trials for presentation to regulatory bodies for claims substantiation.
