Vitamin Angels is dedicated to reducing child mortality worldwide by advancing availability, access, and use of essential micronutrients (especially vitamin A) to pregnant mothers, new mothers, and children under 5 years old.

Since 2011, KGK Science has donated a portion of every contract signed for human clinical trials to the Vitamin Angels “It Makes Cents” initiative, bringing awareness to issues such as malnutrition and vitamin A deficiency (VAD), which contributes to blindness and under-five child mortality; as well as providing prenatal vitamins to support a women’s healthy pregnancy and contribute to the well-being of her infant.

As of 2020, Vitamin Angels has connected over 70,000,000 children and mothers in 70+ countries with the vital nutrients they need as a foundation for good health. Such nutrients address chronic malnutrition and the resulting morbidity and mortality caused by vitamin deficiencies. By mobilizing public sector organizations, private sector resources, and individuals in partnership with Vitamin Angels, the organization reaches millions underserved children and mothers.

As the first registered charity focused on medical cannabis in the world, Hope for Health’s mission is to assist Canadians in overcoming financial barriers to medical cannabis access under the Cannabis Act. Through charitable donations, their financial affordability program focuses on directly assisting patients with the overall costs of medical cannabis, without restrictions on the types of products or producer patients can choose to access from, empowering patients to effectively manage their health, while also offering autonomy to decide what works best for them.
